What happens to the debt purchased by us?


P.R.E.S.C.O. GROUP is one of the oldest players on the market in the industry of investments in debt that can boast extensive experience and advanced know - how. Our experience includes purchase and recovery of debts from all sectors basing their activity on mass sales of products and services.

All the purchased receivables of the Group are supported in the Operations Centre in Piła which is the hart of the Group. Here, on the surface of 1 500 square meters functions all infrastructure associated with the implementation of collection procedures along with call - centres where up to 250 people can work.


As the first on the Polish market, we have implemented a partnership approach to recovery, which main aim was to help people in debts in overcoming their financial difficulties. We are aware of the fact that high security level of information resources, both of these handed over to us, as well as those generated as a result of the debt recovery processes, has a key significance for realizing P. R.E.S.C.O.’s mission.

Bearing in mind the critical role of information security, we act in accordance with the directions of ISO 17799:2005 and the Polish Norm PN 07799 (ISO 27001).

All the company’s employees, before obtaining access to P. R.E.S.C.O.’s information resources, undergo obligatory training concerning internal regulations, as well as current regulations of the law.

As a security measure P. R.E.S.C.O. uses e.g.:

  1. Centralized management system of the access to particular sections of the headquarters, controlled by a system of processor cards, linked to alarm installation, initiation of which launches immediate (15 minutes) reaction of armed intervention groups.
     
  2. Environmental control and monitoring system ensuring the right conditions at the place of data processing, together with a system notifying responsible people about potential threats.
     
  3. System of managing security at the link point of company network with the Internet. The system encompasses both equipment securities, as well as software securities, whose task is to provide employees and P. R.E.S.C.O.’s systems with access to external sources, in accordance with directives of Security Policy, and at the same time maintaining the highest level of safety.
     
  4. Formalized system of managing access on the level of network and appliance resources, as well as of access to offices and written documents, which allows for efficient granting of powers on a level conforming with the will of particular resources’ managing parties, as well as for their instant cancellation when such need occurs.
